From Glennallen, Alaska, head 31 miles south on the Richardson Highway. Turn east on the Edgerton Highway at milepost ???. Follow the road through Kenny Lake (last chance for gas) for 33 miles and you'll find yourself in Chitina. From Chitina, you can turn right on O'Brien Creek (charters and a 4wheeler trail that's also suitable for hiking and biking) or head straight through the old railroad cut to the Copper River. Personal use dipnetting is permitted downstream of the bridge. Only subsitence fishing is allowed upstream of the bridge - that takes a different permit than your Copper River Personal Use permit.
